Prenatal

Our Prenatal Program begins with a detailed evaluation to establish a program for a healthy and active pregnancy, activity modifications to accommodate changes in your body, reduce pain or discomfort, and decrease the risk of diastasis (abs separation), tearing, and other pelvic floor dysfunctions.

We will also develop a comprehensive birth preparation program tailored to your body during the third trimester to improve the outcomes of your labor and delivery.

Birth Prep

You can purchase our Birth Preparation Program separately or as part of the Prenatal Program. We will prepare your body to enable the baby to “drop” into optimal position and reduce the pushing stage and time in active labor. This program is recommended for women in their third trimester of pregnancy, no later than 36 weeks.

Some tools you will learn include:

  • How to push in various positions to reduce stress on you and the baby and decrease perineal tearing

  • How to use your breath to relax and lengthen your pelvic floor

  • Exercises and birthing positions to support opening the pelvis

  • Comfort measures you and your support person can perform to decrease pain and improve the progress of your labor

Postpartum

Postpartum physical therapy includes a full-body evaluation and treatment to heal your body following pregnancy, whether six weeks, six years, or beyond! It is common for many women to experience enduring problems after pregnancy.

During this time, we will assess and treat your core and pelvic floor, coach you on caring for your baby to help your body heal, and bring your pelvis back to a more “closed” birthing pattern pre-pregnancy.

We will also address any of your postpartum aches and pains including prolapse (vaginal “heaviness”), diastasis recti (abs separation), and urinary/fecal incontinence (leaking).

Fitness

We will help you meet your fitness and health goals, whether you are a high-level athlete itching to return to sport or a momma who wants to return to running marathons, cross-fit, or your home exercise program.

Our Fitness program will comprehensively assess your posture, breathing and movement patterns, core, and pelvic floor to identify existing dysfunctions.

With the right strategies to strengthen your core and pelvic floor, you can tackle any fitness program and safely return to activities you love!

We treat mommas who:

  • Leak pee whenever they cough, sneeze, or jump on a trampoline with their kids (urinary stress incontinence)

  • Wait several days before having a bowel movement (constipation)

  • Have skid marks (fecal incontinence)

  • Involuntarily pass gas and blame it on their kids (anal incontinence)
